The CW released the Official Description of the Season Finale, 4.22 Episode "Lucifer Rising", which will be aired on May 14th.

"Lucifer Rising"

THE BATTLE BEWTEEN HEAVEN AND HELL BEGINS — The apocalypse is coming, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) prepare for the fight in very different ways. Sam joins Ruby (Genevieve Cortese) on a final run to kill Lilith (guest star Katherine Boecher), while Castiel (Misha Collins) and Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) tell Dean it’s time to play his part in stopping Lucifer.

Eric Kripke wrote and directed the episode.

yes, Sam isn't on the demons side, he just fight with Ruby... I think he must use his power, it's good just for something ... but is it sad, cause brothers don't fight together...ooo I can't wait those two episodes now and then two weeks waiting to end in nervous aaaa

What if they tell Dean that he must kill Sam to stop him from breaking the final seal???

If this does happen, my new speculation for this finale, Dean won't be able to do it and Sam does and Lucifer rises. And then in the mist Sam prepares by becoming stronger.... Sam with his dark side....

It's possible, but..... I don't know.... They keep saying that we'll have twists and I wouldn't be surprised by that at all...
