There are plans to bring Wonder Woman back on TV. Entertainment Weekly also said, they haven't found a network yet.

Is Wonder Woman running back to TV?
A long-gestating plan to revive the Wonder Woman franchise just got an unlikely new boost: TV's premier drama writer David E. Kelley (Boston Legal, The Practice) will pen a spec script for Warner Bros. Television that will update the period tale about an Amazon princess who battled Nazis and other bad guys during World War II. (The character was last seen on the small screen in the 1970s series starring Lynda Carter.) Kelley, who's also exec producing the midseason drama Harry's Law for NBC, is expected to incorporate the superhero's signature lasso, cuffs, and plane in the script that insiders assure will be a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character. (There's no word yet on when he might deliver the script.) Warners is expected to shop the project to all of the broadcast networks, though it seems like a perfect fit for The CW, home to Smallville, which is now in its tenth season. Meanwhile, the decision is adapt the franchise for the big screen remains a goal. Though the likes of Joel Silver and Joss Whedon tried and failed to make it a reality, a TV show could only boost chances for a movie origin tale in the future.

Wonder Woman will fly this pilot season after all. New NBC entertainment president Bob Greenblatt capped a day of high-profile pilot pickups with a surprise order to David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman reboot. [...]
WBTV took Kelley's Wonder Woman spec out to the networks in the first week of January. At the time, NBC was the most interested but, with Greenblatt still on the sidelines, the network couldn't commit to the type of license fee that the studio was seeking in order to do the show Kelley had envisioned, and WBTV decided to shelve the project. With Greenblatt now firmly taking the reins and Kelley just delivering one of the most promising new series for NBC this season, Harry's Law, NBC stepped up to greenlight Wonder Woman. The project is described as a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman -- aka Diana Prince -- is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. "I had a lot of fun writing it," Kelley said of the script at TCA last week when the project had just been put on hold. "It's a huge project, and it was probably a bit too much to ask anyone to try to chew on it for next season. But I'm confident it will still happen. It's a very complicated piece, which is the most fun thing about it."

I though it would get picked upand it was only a matter of time. I'm not that suprised NBC picked it up because Kelley's "Harry's Law" did great for NBC. From the description, I get the vibe we won't get to see much of her origin but she already being a superhero. The question is who they will cast for the role.

This is either a REALLY really amazing idea that I'm going to love and watch religiously or it's going to be a very, VERY bad idea that I detest. Wonder Woman has to be handled a certain way for me to like her, lets see if they can manage to do that or not.

I'm wonderring on what they will base the story because i.e. they changed her costume in the recent comics. Hopefully we get more information soon. Maybe they can get Lynda Carter in a role i.e. her mom or so. Ausiello reported McG will direct the pilot. I think that's great news.

On the surface, McG is an obvious choice to shepherd Wonder Woman. In addition to his ties to the Charlie’s Angels movies and ABC’s in-the-works remake, the multi-hyphenate has deep roots in the TV biz. He currently serves as an executive producer on Nikita, Human Target, Supernatural and Chuck. (He also directed the Chuck pilot back in 2007.) It also helps that McG’s production company is based at Warner Bros.

BleedingCool was able to read one of the drafts of the pilot. The article isn't that much spoilery but it gives some clues. Here are some highlights:

This new Wonder Woman does feature a lot of elements and characters from the comics continuity:

* There’s a Myndi Mayer, herein portrayed as Diana’s BFF.
* There’s a scene with comics character Etta Candy, a role that’s pretty much written like a job offer to Melissa McCarthy.
* Long ago, government man Steve Trevor crashed onto Wonder Woman’s island and brought her back to New York, but now they’ve split up. She still loves him, though, and it’s obvious that their relationship is going to be a focus.
* Diana might not have an invisible jet (if she did, I didn’t see it) but she has a whole rainbow’s worth of over coloured aircraft.
* She has the lasso, and those bracelets with which she deflects bullets.
* Her nemesis is Veronica Cale, who in this continuity is an evil scientist and rival businesswoman with a secret, nefarious plan that you’ll probably guess ahead of time.

Well, this Wonder Woman:

* Identifies with ET the Extra Terrestrial when his movie comes on TV.
* Really loves planes. Like really.
* Pines for Steve like Carrie for Big.
* Wants to belong and be “among” people, not just “with” them.
* Sings along to the radio in multiple scenes – but nothing with a hairbrush in front of the mirror just yet.
* Doesn’t like being “marketed, commercialized, merchandised”, though she is – there’s a joke about Wonder Woman tie-in dolls having their costumes redesigned that seems to reference the recent makeover for the comics.
* When she’s Diana Prince she’s a mousey Miley Stewart, when she’s Diana Themiscyra she’s the Hanna Montana of businesswomen, and when she’s Wonder Woman she’s Wonder Woman – which is precisely twice in the whole episode.
* Is a capitalist.
* Puts on her PJs for an ice-cream filled sleepover with best friend Myndi.
