Superman 2 Scene With Different Effects

In Superman 2 movie, Clark kisses Lois to make her forget that she knows about him. In this episode, it seems they will have something similiar but with the effect Lois knows more about her stay in the future. Patty from imdb shared with us this:

I don't think Clark has that power. It's more a metaphorical one. He doesn't make her forget, actually he will do the opposite but he doesn't know that he caused that.

Well obviously Lois holds the key to all the answers that Clark needs to fix everything. one thing that stuck out was Lois' dreams most recently the dream sequence in Metallo. There a ripped up shirt with a S in the middle and on a large stick like it was a FLAG. I think that symbolizes death or taken down. Meaning at some point Clark dies...or something really bad happens with Lois' watching.
