1.04 - Phantom Traveler

On TransNational flight 2485, a man possessed by the spirit of the Phantom Traveler causes the plane to crash, leaving only five survivors left alive. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) must exorcise the angry spirit before it attacks the survivors. The brothers realize the only way to do that is to take the battle to the skies.

Richard Hatem wrote the episode directed by Bob Singer.

Enjoyed this ep. Dean freaking out on the plane was one of the best moments for me in season 1

^^his freaking out is kinda epic like that.

I keep thinking about how awesome Season 1 really is....I can sit down and watch any episode and completely enjoy it

And that was waaaayyyy before the famous "Yellow Fever" scream. I remember that was the first time I laughed my head of watching SPN. :hahaha: And the zen breath! *LOL*

Lele, I think it's funny that in this case you think Dean's fear to be entertaining...

I love how Dean and Sam reason about flying and how Dean told him why he takes a car! :woo:

Yeah, you're right. In this episode I think it was so freaking funny! I think that it's because of the plot. He wasn't out of control, he was himself... It wasn't a disease that he was in danger of die in the end.... Again. There is no Lilith saying that he was going back to Hell. And it wasn't an episode only about it.

The funny thing about it is that Dean was presented as the strong older brother who protects others facing all sort of supernatural creatures...and he is afraid to fly! *LOL*
