Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) come to the aid of Sam’s old college buddy after he is accused of a murder he swears he didn’t commit. The brothers discover a shapeshifter is adopting the likenesses of others and murdering people. The brothers’ race to stop the shapeshifter takes a terrifying turn when he shifts into the likeness of Dean.

The episode was written by John Shiban and directed by Robert Duncan McNeill.

Season 1 eps are so strong.....this is intense....hahaha I'm having so many memories.

i think we started to know the real Dean in this episode, how he really felt about being abandoned, and the life he would have liked to live, buaaaa, that was so sad, this was a great episode

That's what I thought. We saw a lot of Dean in here, and about his fears and jealousy concerning his brother.

Plus, this was the perfect episode, two Deans...

Means one for me and one for you all! :p

Even though I do really like this episode concerning the brothers and the fact that Dean is half naked for at least a little bit without being gross... And then, he looks so damn sexy in that grey shirt... Thank you, Lere, for the pictures! :hug:

Despite the fact that you have seen Jensen half naked in this ep, I thought it was a really gross episode...I mean, the part of the skin changing was not appealing to me!!

I really hated as well how this got the whole the-guys-are-chased-by-the-FBI started!! I mean, it was the first ep where we really had authorities looking for them and all!!
