Alia Has Been Cast!!

When the info about the name of the Season Premiere of season 9th was known also it was the casting of two new characters Alia and Fiona. Thanks to imdb.com we know already who is playing the role of Alia on the season premiere "Savior".

Monique Ganderton is not unfamaliar to the Smallville team she has quite a resume doing stunt work (future works include Alaina Huffman's Stargate Universe and Serinda Swan's Tron 2.0), this year she worked on Smallville also, she was Cassidy Freeman stunt double.

Ms. Ganderton also has actress work she was on the CW's Supernatural and she is going to be Mature on the upcoming "King of Fighters" movie. You might have seen her also on the season finale "Doomsday" as the mother of the girl Clark saves from Doomsday on the final battle.

And we know already who is writting the season Premiere: showrunners Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders are the minds behind "Savior".

And the second Episode is called "Metallo" and is directed by Mairzee Almas.

Gaby, that's not Monique Ganderton, you put up a picture of Katie Cassidy, I was looking at that thinking, wow Katie is gonna be on Smallville? lool

I don't think she is blonde at the moment. Because in all pictures from her lately, she is dark hair. She fits the role because she has done some stunt work on Smallville but also in the movie Watchmen and in other series and movies since Alia will do some fighting.

She looks also good. :D I like that picture.

I wonder whats the deal with Fiona, she is not appearing? cause they have already a week filming and the only one casted is Alia, well maybe we will know later

Completely shallow line coming up, but she's really pretty

. Being a stuntwoman and has already worked on SV before she will definitely be prepared for the role in many aspects *nods*.

She is pretty and does have a very versatile look!

It will be fun watching her and Clark go head to head in the stunts department!
