Update: Changes For Elite Members

There is a little update for people who has over 5,000 posts (Elite Member). Their usernames won't be a bold and green anymore however it will be bold and black. Instead of a colored username, they will receive awards under their avatars. There is no changes regarding privileges, they are still the same.

The reason for this, we thought it would be easier for newbies to see who belongs to the staff.

Simple rule: Everyone who has a colored username (not black) is a staff member.

Actually is not a good new rule...everyone can see who is a mod or part of the staff.

But it's easier to see. Privileges like certain limit of inbox storage didn't change and instead you got an award. Plus, the site staff can have a different color which goes along better with most of the forum themes.

it's a point of view....me and my italian friends don't care about the 'award'....
I am on DFN since 2004-5 and I ever had any award, and this has no relevance (for me at least) ; we were more 'happy' having a green username, that's all.

Ashley...for you don't change anything...you got a nice pink name

news users can see easily the big buttons below your name...so don't need to change that color.

ps: even that blue ...it's good

a little better my profile now with 'dfn elite member' button.
