NBC Announces Premiere Dates for Summer 2012 Schedule
NBC has given premiere dates for three more summer shows, including reality series Love in the Wild and American Ninja Warrior, as well as drama Saving Hope. Those shows join America's Got Talent to make up NBC's original summer lineup.
Season two of Love in the Wild will premiere with a two-hour opener on Thursday, June 7 at 8 p.m., and move into its regular 9 p.m. time slot the following week (June 14). American Ninja Warrior, which NBC will share with sister network G4, will debut Monday, May 21, at 9 p.m. with a 2-hour episode, and then continue as a one-hour weekly series starting the following Monday (May 28) at 9 p.m. And drama Saving Hope premieres on Thursday, June 7 at 10 p.m.
Love in the Wild is an adventure-dating series hosted by Jenny McCarthy. Saving Hope is an hour-long medical series produced with Canada's CTV and starring Erica Durance, Michael Shanks and Daniel Gilles. And NBC will air the preliminary finals and the grand finale of American Ninja Warrior, while G4 airs the preliminary rounds.
