im go with "all the above". well... a few thots struck me while watching. how gramps cldn't control Soulless Sam but Dean cld (to some extend), hw Dean was protective over Sammy and wanting to leave the case but Sammy (w soul) always win him over with his puppy eyes and emotional talks and reasoning.

I think my favorite moments throughout the episode were the flashbacks...they were so intensely done, especially in black and white and the closeups on the actors faces...it was so good! I also love the moment when we saw soulful Sam again...I missed that.

'all of the above' it was an intense episode! but among the above i have to mention 'the return of the puppy eyes' (yay! sammy is really back!) and sam and cougar sex flashback (just wish it were longer (drool2))

I liked this episode because it gave Jared the chance to flex his acting skills. My favorite part of the episode was that Sam returned to being Sam and of course all the flashbacks of his deeds when he was without his soul. I have to admit that it was chilling and hard to watch him coldly beat up the police officer in the first flashback. That scene made me appreciate that we have Sam back with his soul intact.
