Smallville on the EW Magazine

On the August 14th issue of Entertainment Weekly Magazine, on the Ausiello Files section Smallville gets a mention about the reports of a darker season and it has scoop on this season 9th episode "Rabid" wich will be the third episode of this new season.

Smallville lightens up

Smallville producers are backing down from earlier claims that the coming season would be one of the show's darkest yet. "We might've misled people a little bit with that," confesses co-showrunner Brian Peterson. "Clark starts the season in a very gloomy place, but the season itself won't be dark." Case in point: In episode 3, Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) are "in the trenches fighting zombies," says Peterson. "And when they catch their breath from fighting, [romantic] sparks will fly."

That is great. Smallville has turned into Zombieland. But it's great and I am happy to see that sparks will fly and so will the gore!!!

At least the season will not be dark like last season. Romantic sparks will fly with Clark and Lois fighting zombies, but is Clark doing so as the Blur or as the reporter?

I hope to be surprised by Rabid because seasons' 3rd episodes are usually fillers.

Glad to hear that the season will not be dark like the last one.

I am glad that Lois and Clark are investigating and I am cautiously optimistic regarding the romantic sparks flying.

Thanks Gabriela for posting that scan and information about the Episode Rabid. Very interesting. I like it. then Lois and Clark in a romantic moment. That´s great.

I'm just glad it's confirmed that Clois Sparks will be flying as early as episode 3!

Is Zombies a new thing for Smallville - my memory is somewhat sketchy?
