Grace from Chelsea, U.K.: Do you have any news on what's to come on the new season of Smallville? Will Chloe ever be with Clark?
We're actually hearing of a "strained relationship" between Chloe and Clark next season on Smallville. Those two will always work together, and they will always be your "Chloe and Clark," but expect some tension in season nine. Sorry guys.

Now here's a spoiler that's going to be interesting because I agree that it's going to stem from last season and it will continue in the 9th season, especially when it's Chloe's last season. Also, it seems to me that Clark and Lois' relationship will most likely be stronger in contrast.

I saw this coming...after Doomsday this won't be the same, and I hope Clark grwos some kind of backbone of this one. I am all for the forgiving but this shouldn't be something its completly forgotten by episode 9.02

No wait I forgot, Chloe was label as an Hero....god only knows why so this will be Chloe mad at Clark and not the other way around

Excuse me if I don't show any exciment as again Clark will get slapped and blamed

With Chloe being possessed by Brainiac and falling in love with Doomsday last season, I don't think Clark is going to look at her the same way again. I also
wonder if Clark will also not get along with Oliver Queen as well.

SO GLAD I decided not to tune in for season 9. Guesses? It will be ALL Chloe's fault and she'll cry about it in her Chimmy alter in the watchtower. Yeah, whatever. It's virtual season and vid land for me. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Chloe fans deserve a proper sendoff. Will they get one? Nope. Honestly, the whole thing puts a bad taste in my mouth and MAKES me never want to watch Superman again. Smallville has ruined Superman for me. Sad day.

Can't say I am surprised after Failsday when they assassinated every character on the show. There are no words. I know others who are refusing to tune in as well. I'm sure Chlark will be destroyed in every way just to make way for a more 'iconic' relationship. Bleh!

I'm pretty sure that will be the point since the writers aren't intelligent enough to end the relationship in a positive well written, non jump the shark manner.

Yes, why Chloe will be mad at him ? Something related to his absence at the Funeral ? Or.... she will be closer to Oliver and Clark will disagree about it ?

Thanks gabriela for posting that information about Clark and Chloe. It´s great. I like it. Clark and Chloe working together like in old seasons. Clark and Chloe always have been good friends over all in the past seasons. The quote say: There will be some tension between them. But I think, it´s normal. Not always the things are of color pink.

Don't know Amelie this show is weird, Chloe was the one making the bigger mistakes here and at the end Jimmy called her an hero and she actually had the guts to be mad at Clark for not being tehre for her

Is a safe bet Clark will be the bad guy/Friend here

That's going to be the flip side of what Chloe was last season. It seems that the spoilers were getting is about the same as last season, but different characters and twists. It's as if they're trying to correct the last season.

Who said anyone will be slapped and burned? Strained relationship can mean that they aren't as close as they were and there will be a lot of tension between Chloe and Clark.

There really has been not confirmation that Clark will be blamed and who labeled Chloe as a hero? No one, unless you are referring to the quote that Chloe is "doing the right thing" in the Smallville Magazine.

My guesses are that there will be tension and they will not be like "hey how are you" towards one another. I think this may gone on through midpoint of the season or a little before. I don't expect it to last the entire season because, truth-be-told, they need one another. There will be some point in a episode where they will hit a resolution and everyone's feelings will pour out.
