Lorraine in the United Kingdom: Any chance of some Chloe-Oliver action on Smallville next season? I just love those two characters!
Sorry, no Chloe-Oliver gettin' together on Smallville this season, but they will continue to be awesome separately. We're hearing the big romance arc this season is Lois and Clark.

After what happened last season, this is best news for Clark and Lois fans. I don't expect Oliver and Chloe to hook up nor do I see it happening when it's Chloe's final season. However, I do expect to see them work together in the Justice League.

An Oliver-Chloe romance would disgust me. Thankfully, it's Lois and Clark's time, finally. Maybe I can forgive some of the things from S8.

They said the same thing last season and nothing happen... I don't believe..anything about Clois in spoilers... I was so happy last season and most of the things didn't happen.

Well we had alot more Clois moments then in previous seasons so I wouldn't call S8 a bust

They DIDN'T say that last season they said they would grow closer they never talked or used the word romance.

I would't change nothing from the 8 season Clois wise...well some things here and there after Bride. Those for me right now are patches that will be fixed but 85% of the Clois on season 8 was trully enjoyable one of the best parts of Last season, they, Lois alone and Clark alone.....most of the time

I can't wait what they can do with the 9th

I m not believing anything unless I see it. Just cause Kristin used the word "romance" doesn't tell me much. Hopefully it shall be romance, but for all I know they might end up meaning Clois=the main ship and getting close romantically. It has happened so many times before in various things, saying something as vague and then everyone interpreting it as they please.

For example the most romantic scene according to all of them in this season was a ...phone call. So for all I know , romance in 9th season might mean more smiles than in 8th and more sexual tension. Some fans will say that "yes of course that scene shows romance" , some others will say "yeah it does show sth, but meh I expected more, I mean they said ROMANCE."

So yo...I don't care how Kristin is defining romance. All I care is how I define it. If SV's definition happens to be close to mine then great, if not then boo-ya.

The word romantic linked with Clois in a spoiler? BRING IT....don't care in which form chase, phone call, sex, phone sex, puppy eyes, eye sex, RBB Lois, Clark Lois Clark RBB...wait that came out wrong...well you get the drift

For me that mean more focus in Clark and Lois...BRING IT

I ditto alll that! A Phone Call?? That being considered romantic yeah, I need to see it. Been watching SV for too long to get into all this "romance" "myth" stuff

well whatever I for once will enjoy my spoiler, I am happy, next week maybe not but right now I am over the moon and won't let anthing rain over my parade.

I DID considered the phone call romantic, of course it didn't have the violins and the spaghetti but for me it worked I was al awww during the scene so I wasn't dissapointed...so BRING IT ON!!!

Her contract is going to be after the 9th season is over.

In addition to the romance between Clark and Lois, I hope Lois plays a role in the Zod storyline since Zod will be the 9th season villain. She didn't play a role in the Doomsday storyline last season.

We've seen what they can do with Clois (first half of S8)!!!

I have faith - once we get to the final season, Clois will be as 'hot as hell'!!!

They've got to step the sex factor up on the show, particularly as they moved it to a Friday night...
