Tonight E!Online has some scoop from Smallville about the season 9th vilain. And once again Smallville will be present on this year's Comic Con according to exc producer Brian Peterson.

Lonnie in Chicago: Any hints on what villains are coming to Smallville?

A few fan faves will be back next season, but we'll have to wait a while to find out the rest. Says Brian Peterson, "We introduced several this year that we'll probably bring back next year. We loved Zatanna. We looked at a few others that we want to introduce, but we're going to wait for Comic-Con to release all that." One hero you won't see stopping by is Batman. Though the producers really want to have him on the show, Kelly Sounders says there's still trouble with the franchise crossovers: "Obviously everybody wants to keep all the franchises going and give the fans what they want in each. If that opening ever, ever occurs, we'll be all over it."

I guess that means we'll know next year's villains at the San Diego Comic Con in July. (with probably a trailer or something to hint us!)

9th season villain. This means that both Davis and Tess will not return because both are villains for the 8th season.

It's because that first post is for the feed readers to catch the newly posted page, and the "HERE" link in that first post links to the page (the same page) so we can click that link in our reader and be sent HERE. And the info is always in the second post.

Also, it actually sounds to me like Tess, Davis, and Plastique may be back next season. I hope Bruno is one of the main villains to.

what it surprises me is that people STILL ask for Batman when that, alongside Chlois, is the most straight forward answer they have given us for like forever: NO

lol its not you, its about the news itself that people keep asking abiout Batman and they keep getting the same answers...

Happens in Comic Con happens when the Producers takes questions from fans.....etc etc

am i the only one who thinks it odd that the fan asked about future vilians and basicaly gets an answer on what heroes will and wont be back?
thats like asking if there will be rain and being told that the sun won't shine.

no you aren't the only one Carla. I read the title of the thread and after I read the short article my first thought was that I had missed something, cause I expected to read a hint about the villain and there was no such thing.

It's definitely Zod. Ausiello has put out the trailer for Doomsday that indicates it.

I don't think Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman should meet at this point in time. I'd rather they meet in their later years.
