I like Chuck and Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles. Unfortunately they are shown at the same time. I usually record TSCC and watch Chuck on TV or online.

Love the humors of the show mainly. It's one of those I can shut off my analytical mind and just relax and enjoy for 1 hour.

I see Jill as a foil for Sarah, when it comes down to it. Much in the same vein as Bryce Larkin was to Chuck in the equation. It's a smart move and it brings back the old issues, that Chuck had with his ex. Doesn't mean there won't be their share of catches because we always have them in the long run with the series.

Chuck Bartowski just scored himself one mighty fine Cylon.

Multiple sources confirm Battlestar babe Tricia Helfer will join NBC's Chuck later this season as a new honey for Chuck himself, Zachary Levi.

Now, some of you fans may be asking, "Wait a minute! This doesn't mean Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) is leaving Chuck, does it?!"

And also, will Tricia stick around?

I have the exclusive dish on that and more, direct from Chuck boss Josh Schwartz (who admits he's a huge Battlestar fan)...

As first reported by my frienemy Michael Ausiello, after the big bosses start worrying about how close Chuck has gotten to Sarah, they assign guest star Tricia Helfer, aka Special Agent Alex Forrest, to partner with Chuck instead.

Is she a permanent replacement? No. Network sources assure me, "Yvonne is our star and not going anywhere." Holler.

According to Josh Schwartz: "Yvonne is amazing, and continues to do incredible work. But that doesn't mean that life isn't complicated for Sarah Walker...and Chuck Bartowski. There are real obstacles to the relationship between Chuck and Sarah. One, her feelings could compromise her ability to do her job and cost Chuck his life. And two, it's a big no-no from the CIA and NSA to have an agent fall for one of its assets. Even the possibility could cost her her job."

Helfer is only slated for one episode for the time being, but Josh tells me they would love to have her back.

"As you would expect from a show like Chuck, there are many rabid Battlestar fans amongst us," Josh says. "And so Tricia is someone we have definitely wanted to work with. We are introducing this character in an episode this season, but she's definitely someone that General Beckman has at the ready and is a great threat that the audience knows is out there in a (knock on wood) season three..."

I've got both type of 3D glasses. The old school red and blue lenses, which came with my Journey to the Center of the Earth DVD and I've got my 3D glasses from Beowulf and Journey to the Center of the Earth theaterically.

Visually, neither of the glasses did nothing remotely effective except clear the picture up for me in regards to things.

I'm going to try it again once its up for download. Overall though I'm loving the fact, that series is moving forward :)

I had the free ones from the grocery store and they worked fine, there wasn't anything HUGE, but it was nice and fun. Also - the flashes and opening credits were the best.

yea i know! :( he had a bunch of sad moments in the ep, having to listen to her with that guy.. but if thats what it takes to make him fight for her, i say bring it on.

i think people are starting to forget why they arent together.. what their reasons were ya know? i mean, i certainly am. i know its because of the spy lifestyle and whatnot, but thats just not enough for me anymore! (sob)

they should at least give it a shot now, while they're working together, and then see what happens after her whole mission of being his handler is over with.

so last nights ep was good, but i was kinda disappointed we didnt see more of chuck and sarah living together :( i always want more of them, but i felt like this was the perfect opportunity and it was kinda wasted.

Their getting into way too much of a stalling pattern, when it comes down to their interaction at this point. Wouldn't just kill them to put their cards on the table or change the dynamic up fully to allow both characters to expand.

Aside from that the trailer for the upcoming episodes look to be building things. Then again, they've done this us to before. Hit a big moment then return to the same old, same old.

OK, so I loved last nights episode! The hobbeling around was just hilarious, and his foot getting stuck was just great. I'm glad that they didn't have Chuck break Morgans heart telling him that they can't move in together and instead having it be more of a group choice. "Chuck right, Lester WRONG." lol, they have been moving the Chuck and Sarah relationship slowly but I'm enjoying it... they can't do too much because if they get involved more it starts to hurt the show. (mainly because if they get another season at some point they would probably break them up.) Now this WAS the right time to introduce Orion, there not sure if they will have a chance with a season 3 and Orion offers up a suitable ending for Chuck if that's what it comes too. (I've heard rumors that people think it's Chuck's dad... maybe he meets his dad then finds out he's Orion and that Sarah knew and didn't tell him so he gets mad?) But yeah, good episode... just what I thought.

Also - His Tron poster is his version of "Life." I like it! :)

With plenty of our favorite shows in danger of falling through the network programming cracks, it's time to bring more attention to the series that deserve another season, but may not get one. We know, we know, wishin' and hopin' didn't do "Pushing Daisies" any good, but we're sending out a prayer to the TV powers-that-be anyway: when upfront time rolls around in a month or so, please let at least some of these shows reappear on your schedules.

1. "Chuck"
In short, this show is clever, all-around fun, with a great cast, stellar writing and lots and lots of heart. And Chuck and Sarah may be the TV couple we most enjoy seeing almost hook up, but not quite. Save that for season five or six.

No idea, but I've gotten into the habit of watching it on Hulu.com every Tuesday since I always miss it on Monday nights lately.

and the chuck/sarah factor wouldnt really seemed that rushed either, cuz everyone already knows about their feelings.

but its a shame theres even a doubt. there's nothing like this show on tv and its definately got a few more seasons left. i mean, even without the whole C/S thing.. theres the storyline of chuck actually becoming a real spy ..as in, getting paid for it haha

Yeah,it sucks :( But I can understand that. I mean, at the time the last episode gets shot,the producers etc. probably don't know yet what will happen to the show and can't change anything.
It was different with Pushing Daisies for example,because the news about the cancellation came early enough and they could change the last episode during the winter hiatus...

As if it's not agonizing enough waiting here in limbo for a season-three pickup, season two of Chuck is about to end, and Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahofski) are still not together! And to make matters even worse, Chuck's college girlfriend Jill (Jordana Brewster) is returning this morning and bringing trouble with her, as always!

But don't count out our favorite superagent couple just yet, because we have exclusive scoop on the future of Chuck (including on Monday's Jill-centric "Chuck Versus the First Kill") from show runner Chris Fedak, and it looks like things might be a'changin'! Whee!

Yes, we do have a glimmer of hope for those of you holding out for that Chuck and Sarah lovin'. When we begged and pleaded with Chris to let us know if Sarah will ever tell Chuck how she feel, he simply stated, "I would say that by the end of the season, Sarah will get her chance." Yay!

But before we get there, let's start with the more pressing question: Why the heck is Jill back? Because, as we've learned, "Fulcrum agents never talk," but, as Chris tells us, "Chuck does know one Fulcrum agent that they've captured, and that's of course Jill. But he's also confused by the fact that he now has Jill back in his life. He doesn't know if she's going to betray him and stab him in the back and leave him for dead, but she is the only person who can help him find his dad."

So, does Jill agree to help her ex? According to Chris, "Chuck, Jill, Sarah and Casey have to team up to find Chuck's father. Chuck and Jill have to go undercover as Chuck and Jill from back in college, and they go to a family reunion to meet up with person who originally recruited her into Fulcrum, her Uncle Bernie. He's hilarious." And who plays Uncle Bernie? Ken Davitian—that's right, Borat's nudie-wrestling partner!

But it's not all giggles this time around—there's also going to be a big dramatic finale. Says Chris, "'Chuck Versus the Final Kill' is one of our comic episodes, but I've noticed that when we do a funny episode usually our endings are pretty epic. So at the end of the episode, Chuck is forced to make a decision that is going to have a real effect on not only the team, but also General Beckman's perspective of the team." Nice.

Haven't heard anything officially about the show being axed. But thus far it seems to be holding up better than REAPER, which just had its own showrunners sign up for different projects and the actor that plays Sock as well.

There are a number of groups forming trying to keep the show back on the air, but only time will tell.

Actually hoping CHUCK gets at least one more season.

some pieces of news on renewal stats

An NBC and WB insider is telling series.nu that Chuck is getting a third season of 13 episodes.

The NBC insider says that Chuck will get a third season of 13 episodes. But an other insider at WB is telling its not 100% sure, but its looking very good for the show. The WB insider confirms that if the show is getting renewed (what seems likely to happen) that the third season gets 13 episodes.

Schedule problem
The WB insider tells series.nu that NBC had a problem to get Chuck on the schedule, but because NBC really loves the show, they did everything to make it happen.

CW had no interest?
Last week we had an exclusive article about Chuck, that the show could move to The CW. Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment of The CW likes Chuck and had interest in the show if NBC would cancel it, but NBC has never offered the series to The CW.

Third, the idea of 13 episodes as well. While the ending for the season finale wasn't as big as I was expecting, it definitely leaves major potential for another season and an upgraded Chuck.

Really good final! I like that Chuck choose his fate, Ellie got married, their dad is safe, Sarah and Chuck can possible get together, the term is back together becuase they care about each other.

The chief hanger wasn't bad at all. It's a good starting point for another season but also a good way to end things. If it ends here then we can believe the term goes on to bigger and better things with no big angst.

Oh man, I just saw the season finale. one word - CHUCKTASTIC. I loved it from beginning to the end. Funny part was when Morgan had to stall for Elle's wedding. Chuck downloaded the intersect in his head. I didn't see that one coming. Then Bryce dying. GAH!!

Everybody involved in the show has been very, very moved and very emotional about how vocal people have become. The Subway [campaign] was a brilliant idea by somebody on the Television without Pity message boards. It really speaks to how sophisticated and savvy Chuck viewers are, to utilize product integration to save their show rather than just reject it out of hand. I have heard anecdotally stories of Subway lines out the door. I know that [Subway execs] have also been extremely surprised by the level of promotion for Subway amidst all of this.

TVGuide.com: But what is NBC thinking these days?
Schwartz: Well, NBC has always really loved the show. They have been very supportive of the show, and they really do love and support the show. It's not lost on them, the fan reaction, the critical support, and this grassroots movement that's taken hold. All of that is very significant in indicating momentum for the show, growth for the show, and a really loyal and fervent fan base for the show.

Schwartz: They have a very tight schedule this year, so...

TVGuide.com: Are you an expensive show, or just not an NBC Universal-owned show?
Schwartz: We're not an expensive show, we're not a cheap show — I think we fall in the middle. They don't own us, so there is that, but at the same time... . There are pluses and minuses to being owned [by the network you air on], I guess.

TVGuide.com: Is Bryce truly and sincerely dead this time?
Schwartz: He is dead.

TVGuide.com: You left the door open for Scott Bakula to return as Chuck's father. Is he on board for further appearances, should you get renewed?
Schwartz: We would love to have Scott back; he was such a fantastic part of the show and he surpassed all of our hopes and expectations for what he would bring to the part. He grounded the show emotionally, and he kicked ass.

TVGuide.com: Would next season be the season we explore Chuck's mom?
Schwartz: We're still formulating our thoughts for the new characters. We know the larger arc for next season that we want to play out, we know the direction we want to take the show, and we know how next season would end.

I don't watch Chuck on cable because of the conflict with House (another of my favorite these days). But I will watch it online. I skipped House to watch Chuck for its season finale. I made the right decision. It's a wonderful episode. I think they will renew Chuck for one more season. Luckily it will be another wedding to end the next season (Chuck and Sarah).

The network said that Mondays it would be Heroes and Day One (A new show), unless plans have changed, and probably Heroes will take Chuck's place I guess and Day One will air at 9 PM... then Jay Leno is stealing one daily hour of our pretty shows, duh. I think a change of day would be good for Chuck, monday is pretty competitive lol. they will say something on May 19. I don't see why it can't be renewed, they have similar ratings than Heroes though with less demo, but the show it's a lot cheaper to produce.

With 13 episodes and the way the finale ended, can't help but like the idea of the changes put forth. Even if someone has to die in the 13 episode stint ahead and with the Buy More being removed from the equation.

As it is Chuck is a much more unique place than he was at the beginning of the season. There's literally a new life ahead of him.

On the heels of Brandon Routh’s casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. “Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other,” teases an insider.

Just heard that NBC is going to be posting episode from season 1 and 2 on there site in a few weeks... also that there going to wait until March to start season 3. I'm super excited for it, but trying to get new fans... and taking it off air for so long just seems dumb to me.

It took me a lot to finally get my butt to watch Chuck, but since I got a huge flu and couldn't get out from bed I've been watching the first season and already starting the second one... OMG!!! I'm so adicted!! :hyper: Chuck is my new idol... well, one of them, I have wayyy too many :P But really he's so awesome! Hoping to catch up on S2 before the new season starts so I can comment with y'all! :biggrin:
