What’s Next on ‘The Vampire Diaries’

**WATCH OUT! THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS**
Zap2it’s Korbi Ghosh attended the Vampire Diaries event at Paley Fest and was able to get as many new information on what comes next on our favorite vampire show as possible.
Korbi spoke to producer Julie Plec who gave all the goodies about Katherine:
“Katherine is not only alive, but she is off and harlot-ing it up somewhere. Last seen in Chicago, she’s probably in Bora Bora right now. She’s kind of a little slut if you think about it.”
According to Julie, we’ll see a whole lot more of Nina Dobrev as evil, slutty Katherine.
Korbi also dished about a devastated and broken-hearted Damon, by saying right on March 25th, when the series come back from its hiatus, we’ll see Damon drunk and SHIRTLESS for the whole episode. Her exact words were:
Damon, crushed by the news that the woman he’s mourned for 150 years is actually doing just fine and couldn’t care less about him. In fact, when “VD” returns on the 25th, the big D will be on a bender. He’s pretty much drunk for the whole episode — and shirtless!! — and will eventually hook up with a hot, older woman (enter Ms. Melinda Clarke of “The O.C.” fame).
Apparently, Stefan and Elena’s relationship is going to hit the rocks and that will NOT go unnoticed by Damon, who might find out he has feelings for Katherine’s doppelganger. Isn’t that a big YAY?
Watch Julie Plec talking about all this and how she regrets killing off grams on the video below:
Marisa Roffman, Korbi’s correspondent, twitted the Paley Fest. Here’s the transcript. Enjoy!

Kristin Kruek in Hitched
Former Smallville’s stars John Schneider and Kristin Kreuk have been cast to new series, reports The Hollywood Rporter.
John Schneider, aka Papa Jonathan Kent, has landed a role in an upcoming Spike TV series titled Back Nine, a comedy revolving around the untapped world of golf. Papa Kent will play the lead role of Ronnie Barnes. While the theme of the series might not be appealing to young viewers, due to the recent scandals involving pro golfer Tiger Woods, portraying a hard-drinking, larger-than-life, washed-up former U.S. Open champion, might bring John Schneider some sympathy from the audience. Or not.
The gorgeous and talented Kristin Kreuk, on the other hand, after portraying Clark’s romantic interest Lana Lang on Smallville and a recurring stint on Chuck, she’s now ready to get Hitched.
The 27-year-old actress has been cast to star in Josh Schwartz’s CBS comedy pilot, playing the lead female role. She’ll be starring alongside Jack Carpenter, and the two of them portray a newlywed couple plagued by problems from their crazy family and friends.
Stay tunned!

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on the Cover of Supernatural Mag

Heading to the end of the 5th season, Supernatural’s sexy stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, took some time to sit down and chat with Supernatural Magazine.
Read below an excerpt of this exclusive and fun interview:
An interview with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles
For nine months of the year, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are possessed by supernatural entities. It’s like demons – or angels – have taken over their bodies and they are powerless to do anything but watch their days unfold through someone else’s eyes while they speak someone else’s thoughts and live someone else’s lives. Of course, those entities are just the fictional characters they play for their TV show, but when they’re Sam and Dean Winchester for “sixteen hours a day, five days a week – it’s like being in a different world,” Padalecki related. “I’m Sam Winchester more often than I’m Jared Padalecki!”
When Jared and Jensen are working those kinds of hours in the mindset of brothers who are trying to stop the apocalypse while dealing with their dysfunctional relationship and coping with the fact that the blood of all humankind could be on their hands due to the roles they played in freeing Lucifer, the enormity of it all can be rather “exhausting,” Ackles confirmed. “It’s been an exhausting season so far.”
What’s surprisingly not difficult for Ackles is having to pretend like he wants to kick Padalecki’s Sam’s ass to Hell and back. “I love it when they fight each other!” he insisted with a laugh. “In the past, Dean could never stay mad at his little brother, but this time he could because he has all the reasons in the world to be mad: his little brother caused the Apocalypse! I mean, come on!”Padalecki agrees. “I love the conflict. Before it was like, ‘Oh, you made a deal with a demon, didn’t you?’ ‘Yeah.’ ‘Uh, okay. So, how long?’ ‘A year.’ ‘You suck. I’ll find a way to get you out. Hug me.’ But then the situations obviously changed, so even though the brothers still cared about each other, what Sam and Dean went through changed them both and separated them more into individuals, so their relationship got much darker. I like the dynamic of brother versus brother when they both think they’re doing the right thing for the right reasons. And I would like to see how dark Sam could get.”
Both actors don’t actually expect that things will go darker; they expect that Sam and Dean will change the destinies laid out for them in The End. “They still have their own inner demons and skeletons and secrets and all that to deal with,” Padalecki pointed out, “but I’m sure they’ll get back together and join forces somehow.” Ackles agreed, adding, “Yeah, I kinda think they’ll spend most of the rest of the season trying to fix things up and forgiving their mistakes, especially Sam, because he’s feeling guilty for Lucifer’s rising on Earth. He’s admitting his faults and trying to find redemption.”

Joshua Jackson’s longtime girlfriend, the German actress Diane Kruger, is going to joing him and Anna Torv in ‘Fringe’.
Diane will play one of the victims of some bubonic-plague-like affliction that causes her arm and next to develop boil-like, scaly cysts. It also looks like the affliction will be hitting Kruger’s character while she’s going for a drive, according to the pictures below. This episode will probably air between April and the season finale, in May.
Diane Kruger’s resume includes the role as Helen in Troy and Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds.
