Shia Breaks Out the Sweaters!

Carey Mulligan and Shia LaBeouf ventured out for another sunny afternoon in LA Thursday. They stopped off for a quick lunch together, following their other recent days of shopping and kissing all over town. Shia’s letting his casual side shine through as he breaks out his favorite sweatshirts after a few months of wearing suits on the set of Money Never Sleeps, but he may have to get fancy again when award season rolls around. Carey’s up for multiple awards for her work in An Education, and Shia’s services might be required as a red carpet date.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel SoHo Holiday Shoppers

Enjoying their time on the east coast, Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel were spotted visiting the fashionable SoHo district in New York City on Wednesday (December 16).

Fresh off of attending the premiere of “Nine” the previous evening, the happy twosome ended up picking up some Christmas gifts at a local store during the day’s retail session.

A paraplegic ex-marine war veteran is unwillingly sent to establish a human settlement on the distant planet of Pandora, only to find himself battling humankind alongside the planet’s indigenous Na’vi race in “Avatar,” an ambitious digital 3-D sci-fi epic from Academy Award-winning Titanic director James Cameron.

The film, which hits theaters today, was nominated for several Golden Globe awards: Best Feature (drama), Director (James Cameron), Best Score (James Horner), and Best Original Song (”I Will See You.”) The film will also compete for the Best Picture prize at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan: Bus Stop Lovers

Shia LaBeouf and his Golden Globe-nominated girlfriend, Brit Carey Mulligan, have been sightseeing in Los Angeles together … by bus! The two were spotted smooching at a local bus stop by the actor’s Sherman Oaks house – and an eyewitness tells us, “Shia has been taking Carey to all of his favorite spots.” Among their stops: Lunch at Mexican restaurant Baja Fresh followed by a visit to Borders. “They are a very sweet couple,” the eyewitness says. “They browsed several books and would not let go of each other’s hands.” The two left with a “make your own volcano kit” and finished their afternoon with a movie at the Arclight before strolling home in the dark.

Rachel Bilson Knows Her Target Audience

Rachel Bilson was in NYC Friday to help open the NYC Target To-Go store, where the new Rodarte collection for the retailer debuted before it’s available online as of Dec. 20. Rachel tried to keep warm despite the chilly weather while passing out bags of holiday goodies to the waiting customers. Rachel is just one of the many celebrities working with Target and their temporary shops.

John Mayer Gets Cozy at the Gift Lounge

John Mayer stopped by the H&M Gift Lounge in NYC on Friday before taking the stage for Z100’s sold-out Jingle Ball. He shared billing with a handful of other big artists like 2009 all-star Taylor Swift and Idol alums Kris Allen and Jordin Sparks. Now John’s off for a few dates on the West Coast before moving on to Europe. The number one selling musician spent the last few weeks hanging out and hitting the gym in the Big Apple as he prepped for his big world tour, and we’re sure to get all the details about life on the road from John via Twitter.

Taylor Swift Debuts Straight n’ Sexy New Hairdo

Transforming her look, Taylor Swift was spotted sporting a new straight and bangy hairdo while out in New York City on Wednesday night (December 9).

Heading over to the local Otto restaurant, the “Love Story” singer tweeted, “Photo shoot all day, followed by dinner with Emma stone. Then we wandered around a candy store like wide-eyed little kids.”

Miss Swift also recently expressed her gratitude for being nominated for an impressive eight Grammy awards.

“Thank you again for everything you guys have done to make all of these magical things happen to me!” the 19-year-old tells.
