Taylor Lautner is Stretch Armstrong
After being cast to play Mattel’s action hero, Max Steel, the (almost) 18-year-old Twilight actor, Taylor Lautner, has landed himself another action hero role: Stretch Armstrong.
According to Variety, Universal Picture has cast Lautner and the movie will be shot in 3D and has its premiere date to March 2012.
Stretch Armstrong belongs to the same company responsible for Tranformers and G.I. Joe, Hasbro, and that makes Taylor Lautner the lead in movies produced by the industry’s two biggest toy companies.
